Mission Statement

P.S. 506, The School of Global Communication through Journalism and Technology, is a nurturing learning environment, which together with parents and staff, promotes and encourages the development of the whole child.  As a community of learners, we are dedicated to providing our students with a high quality standards-driven education.  Through differentiated instruction and authentic learning opportunities, our children will have the necessary capabilities to succeed in a diverse and technologically advanced society.
